University of Pennsylvania - South Bronx High School - Throggs Neck Houses

Paul was born and raised in the Bronx, predominantly in the Throggs Neck Houses. As a naturally curious person, Paul focused on his education to find the answers to his questions. He attended the Academy for Careers in Sports located in the South Bronx High School Campus. During such time, Paul participated in multiple educational programs: the Fordham University Science, and Technology Entry Program and Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (a leadership development and academic enrichment program). He sacrificed his summers and weekends in order to challenge himself further. Following high school, Paul attended and graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, earning a B.A. in one of the university’s interdisciplinary majors: Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Thereafter, Paul worked as a paralegal for the Public Service Initiate team, which represents indigent criminal defendants and those person who are unjustly imprisoned, at the New York office of a national law firm. In 2013, Paul was admitted to the NYU School of Law; he earned his J.D. in 2016. Paul currently works as an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York.
