An Important Note to Scholars

By now, you should have received the invitation for our Annual Reception on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the NY Friars' Club. As you know, our contributors enjoy financially meeting and supporting our scholars; your presence is very important. Also, our students and graduates benefit from the mentorships, professional networks, and friendships formed at our fun-filled JJMSF receptions.

This year, the program will highlight our scholars' accomplishments. While photographs are displayed on a background screen, an announcer will introduce each scholar. Please review your page on the web site and send Olisa Christian any corrections and/or updates to your biographical information. If you have not submitted a professional photograph, or if you want to change the current one, please do so as soon as possible.

Our JJMSF family continues to grow - and so do our expenses. Although the Friars' Club grants us a generous discount, we still have to pay a fee for each person in attendance, and of course, the reception is a fund raiser.

  • Each scholar in the class of 2010 is entitled to complimentary admission for him/herself and 1 guest.
  • Each scholar in classes 2006 to 2009 is entitled to complimentary admission for him/herself.
  • The minimum cost that we must charge every other scholar, board member, and guest is $100. Any scholar for whom this price presents a financial hardship should personally contact Dr. Jordan.

Please encourage friends and family members to support us and join in celebration of your accomplishments. Be sure to return your RSVP card listing both complimentary and paying guests.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
