Paul White, 2007

University of Pennsylvania - South Bronx High School - Throggs Neck Houses

Paul was born and raised in the Bronx, primarily in the Throggs Neck Houses. With a natural curiosity and a strong commitment to learning, Paul focused on his education as a means to answer his questions and expand his horizons. He attended the Academy for Careers in Sports at the South Bronx High School Campus. He also participated in several educational programs (i.e,. the Fordham University Science and Technology Entry Program and Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America, a leadership development and academic enrichment initiative), dedicating his summers and weekends to furthering his academic and personal growth. Following high school, Paul graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, earning a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, one of the university’s interdisciplinary majors.

Paul then worked as a paralegal for the Public Service Initiative team at a national law firm, where he assisted in representing indigent criminal defendants and individuals unjustly imprisoned. In 2013, he was admitted to the NYU School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2016. After law school, Paul worked as an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in New York from 2016 to 2021. He then transitioned to an in-house legal role as Associate General Counsel for M&A & Commercial Transactions at Roc Nation in New York from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, Paul moved to Warner Music Group, where he transitioned to a non-legal role as Senior Director, Gaming & Metaverse Licensing on the Business Development Team. In 2024, he made an internal move within Warner Music Group to the Corporate Development team, where he currently serves as Senior Director.
